Although such maintenance work had low priority, I finally made the decision to update the board to the newest verion. Recently, there have been lot of bot problems, and because of some server migrations, there even have been problem with special characters (especially important for German, of course). Unfortunatelly, the previous board version has reached the end of its life cycle, and the new version has been mostly incompatible. Therefore, the maintenance has not been trivial and it took some annoying days. Hopefully, it is worth the effort, and the new version runs stable and holds bots off.
